Relay installs sophisticated military equipment on naval vessels.  While most work is carried out in a dockyard, increasingly these installations are being carried out where ever the vessel is deployed.  This requires Relay to react at short notice sending teams and equipment to the deployment zone, thus maximising the time the ship is operational.

Recent work undertaken includes:

• upgrading an operational communication system;

• installing a secure speech telecommunications system;

• installing a fibre optic command and control system;

• installing a marine satellite positioning system.
